We specialize in raising healthy, high-quality AKC working-line German Shepherds from intelligent, health-tested parents. Our puppies are raised with love in our family and home, with a strong focus on early socialization skills and training.
Raised With Puppy Culture
The first few weeks of a puppy’s life are incredibly important. As breeders, we have the amazing opportunity to shape the outcome of a puppy’s life by what we choose to teach them. By doing the right things at just the right time, we can give our puppies the best possible start in life. Our puppies are raised using Puppy Culture, Early Neurological Stimulation, and Early Scent Introduction protocols. This means you are getting a healthy, well-socialized puppy with a great temperament!
A loving environment, and a consistent training schedule are necessary for puppies to thrive. It takes a lot of time to dedicate to caring for and training a puppy. Only those who feel they have the sufficient time and energy to raise a puppy are encouraged to apply. All of our puppies go through an extensive 9 point veterinarian exam, by a licensed veterinarian, receive their first vaccines and are womerd multiple times before they go home. Each puppy we raise is the result of countless hours of work and love. As breeders, we believe it is our responsibility to find the best homes possible for our puppies, where they will be loved and cared for. Working dogs are extremely loyal; if you treat them well, they will not only serve you faithfully but also become your best friend.
Puppy reservation is based on a first-come, first-served basis. We require a $500 non-refundable deposit (unless the pregnancy fails) to secure your spot on our waiting list for a puppy. The full price of one of our puppies is $3,000, with the $500 deposit applied toward the total cost. Once the puppies reach 6 weeks of age, families will come to pick out their puppy in the order that deposits were placed. All of our puppies go home at 9 weeks of age. We are dedicated to sharing videos and pictures of the puppies on our Facebook and Instagram because we know how hard the weeks of waiting can be! Families are invited to our home to meet the puppies, and our family after they turn 6 weeks old. Each family will be given a scheduled time frame where you’ll have the opportunity to meet all of the puppies and discuss their individual personalities so you can make an informed decision about which sweet puppy will join your family! If you are unable to visit in person we offer video chats, so that you can see the puppies live and discus any questions. It is always a bitter sweet day when we say goodbye to our puppies as they join their new families. However we are very happy for all of our puppy families as they embark on a new journey, and look forward to getting updates once they puppies get home! All of our puppies will be picked up at our home in Northern Maine, which is about 1 hour north of Bangor ME, and 2 hours from Portland ME. If you are not able to come directly to our home to pick up your puppy, we offer specialty delivery options for an extra fee. Please reach out to us for more details about delivery options.
