Welcome to Pine Hill German Shepherds! We are a small, family-operated breeder nestled in the serene backwoods of northern Maine. Our main breeding female, Freda, is a beloved part of our home and family! With only one breeding female, we have the opportunity to raise each litter within our home and family and are excited to offer puppies from time to time! Our mission is to raise confident, healthy German Shepherd puppies from fully health-tested parents who are renowned for their intelligence, strong working drive, and unwavering loyalty. At Pine Hill German Shepherds, we take pride in specializing in early puppy development training and socialization, ensuring our puppies get a strong foundation for life. Raised within our home and family, each puppy receives exceptional care and lots of love, establishing a strong foundation for a lifetime of success. We are deeply committed to raising versatile puppies with a vigorous training background and the confidence to thrive in any environment.

K9 Scholars
Having a well-mannered puppy significantly eases life and reduces stress for both the owner and the pet. With each litter, we reserve two spots for puppies to remain with us for advanced obedience and general training. These selected puppies live in our home and family, participating in our comprehensive positive reinforcement training program, which transforms them into confident, well-behaved companions, ready to succeed in any area of life.

While AKC registration is a starting point for us, it’s not enough. That’s why all of our dogs undergo rigorous health testing. This ensures we breed high-quality German Shepherd puppies from fully health-tested parents with complete OFA health clearances (hips, elbows, eyes, and heart) and comprehensive genetic testing to guarantee their puppies won’t be affected by breed-related diseases.
