Family Raised German Shepherds

Early socialization, development, and training are our primary focus. With just one breeding female, Freda, we carefully plan every litter and spend countless hours observing and working with our puppies. Using proven methods, we lay the groundwork in those first weeks that prepares each puppy to excel in whatever training comes next. Our puppies are raised in our home, surrounded by family and plenty of love from day one. Like people, every puppy has its own personality, so we take care to match each one with the family that best fits its temperament and needs. All of our dogs are AKC registered, however that’s just the bare minimum — just because a dog is AKC registered doesn’t mean it’s a good dog. We perform OFA evaluations of hips, elbows, eyes, and heart, plus DNA testing for the 12 most common genetic diseases in German Shepherds before we breed a dog. The result: puppies with excellent temperaments and a healthy start in life.
